It's Time

In the Yuu race there comes a time when every female and male has to go through the coming of age ceremony. For the female Yuu’s that time is usually marked when their body’s signal that they are fully capable to bare the children of the males. This picture shows when Fuumii discovered she was ready for the ceremony while bathing with her older sister figure Yuumii. She is being reassured that she will be able to get through this transitional time and that she will enjoy it in the end. Yuumii tries to reason with her and tell her that the violent looking sex that she had only ever witnessed her fellow tribe members go through as an outsider feels completely different in person. She now will have to find a fully mature male to “tame” her in the great ritual….

There is a little peep into the world of the Yuu. As we create more artwork you all will see more into there world!

Anime Blues Con + Yuu group + Updates!

Once again, Antigone and I fall to our knees and thank the Goddess for a safe and more importantly, a successful trip to Anime Blues Con in Memphis, TN! We had an amazing time, hung out with some of our friends/fans, and even met new ones! Not to mention, Everyone Loved Antigone’s Sexy Ouka Cosplay! X

Honestly, the one thing that I can truly say I like most about traveling to these conventions, is seeing new places, and meeting new friends. The money that we make at these conventions is nice, and helps us continue to do what we love to do professionally. But the friends that we make are priceless. I absolutely love chatting to our happy customers, seeing the look in their eyes as they walk away with one of our drawings/crafts… And more importantly, seeing some of them come back again, and again and again. Sometimes to say hi, other times to support us more, and buy more of our stuff! At times, it got so exciting that it became too much for my furry love to handle!

Once again, I don’t enjoy this because of the money, I enjoy this because of the experiences I experience, and the new friends that Antigone and I meet. Lots of times, after I buy something at a convention, I will start to feel some buyer’s remorse! I will feel guilty and a little bit sad that I let me desire get the better of me and made me spend $50 dollars on a naughty body pillow that I didn’t need DX! Not once have I seen that look on a single one of our customers faces after buying something from us. So just knowing that the product of my mine and my Fiance’s Hard work and passion brings happiness to others, it truly fulfills my life. It’s a hard life sometimes, but I absolutely love who we are and what we do, and wouldn’t ever even think of doing anything else….Except sleep more…

So aside from the mushy stuff! Anime Blues was Awesome. An amazingly run convention, tons of guest, an awesome venue, all topped with an energetic and bustling crowd! We profited pretty big. Unfortunately I’m not so sure this convention will be on our list for next year. Purely because it was just so far away. 6 hours and 30 minutes. That’s a lot of gas/driving! But needless to say, our experience was rich and fulfilling!

….And… it gave us a partner to join us on the bed. Truly an experience that we will reflect on each and every night. XP

So enough of that! And more about the lovable erotic fur creatures that you are all so supportive of, The Yuu Race! In our most recent poll, a good number of people voted and not only decided that they wanted to see a Deviant Art group Dedicated to the Yuu Race, but also decided that the group should be a Role-Playing based group! Now that a majority as been reached and a decision has been made, I’ll be straight up, I really made this race for Role-Players and wanted to create the group for that purpose. On one hand, I’m fairly happy that the majority voted with me on that, on the other hand, I got a little bit concerned that the final tally was actually really really close. This has made me realize that, I am not so sure people quite understand where I am coming from, what I’m doing, or where I’m going with this Yuu thing. This has opened my eyes a bit, and thus has led me to my decision to reveal more about this race, and my thought process behind it. Be expecting a journal update devoted to the Yuu Race within the coming week. In it will be small exerts or creative writing that is to be printed in the final version of the art book I am making for this race.

Aside from our Yuu stuff, some updates! First of all, We have been doing extremely well at conventions, but I think our focus on selling locally has led to our Online crowd feeling left out. We want to make sure that we are bringing happiness to everyone we can, and we are getting our work out to more people/places. Therefore, were going to go back to selling on ebay soon, as well as really pushing our online marketing. Look forward to items that can be bought any time such as,

Dragon Fruit Plushies

Did I say Dragon Fruit Plushies? Yes I freakin did! The cute (slightly Retarded) mythical food group, will be yours to cuddle within the coming months. Antigone is working on turning them into plushies to sell locally at conventions, as well as online! She will be sure to update everyone on her progress.

Speaking of crafts, Antigone is actually looking to go into professional Cosplay Crafting. She Already did a pretty amazing job with her Ouka Cosplay!

She is going to start off by creating a leather Dark Magician Girl Cosplay to advertise our table at our next convention in 3.5 months, Anime Weekend Atlanta!

Anime Weekend Atlanta is our next convention! It’s the biggest of our current circuit, is our home turf, and holds a special place in our hearts. Antigone and I met at Anime Weekend Atlanta, and our relationship began soon after. Yup, I found my True love at an Anime Convention. =)

All right people. I’m going to be straight up with you. You are here. This is our site. If the content here offends you, then leave! It’s that simple.

As many of you know, we here at Faerie’s Dice create many pieces of nude/Erotic artwork. Why? Why do we do what we do? and What exactly does it mean to us?

I’m going to explain ourselves, Once. And only this once.

BECAUSE WE ENJOY IT! Honestly? Is there any better reason to create something? Is there any other reason to do anything in life? What exactly is the point to anyone doing anything if they don’t enjoy it? Many people might look at this image and respond with.. “Well you’re a pervert and you enjoy perverted things!”. Sex? I enjoy Nudity and sex. Guilty as charged! As an artist, and I’m also a human. I enjoy seeing the nude human form, it’s a beautiful and intricate design. I enjoy it so much that I have spent years studying it’s form, and have devoted my life to recreating it in it’s most natural state. Sex? Yep. I enjoy sex. I enjoy a natural biological process that well over 6 billion humans and animals have gone through and continue to go through every day. I cherish and enjoy the act of two people passionately expressing their love for one another. I see the beauty of the act, and feel it’s recreation is an art in itself. To be able to recreate such an emotional and delicate experience within a piece of art, I don’t see that as perversion. I see it as a skill.

We here at Faerie’s Dice, we Love what we do. It’s a passion, and we take it seriously. And believe it or not, were human beings too. We have feelings. It hurts our feelings and it hurts badly when we read a hurtful comment, or have our own friends and family say hurtful things to us. But even so, we continue to do what we love, and we do it for no other reason than because we love it. We don’t create the art we create to hurt your sense of morality, we do it because we love what we create, and we love the feelings and emotions that come along with them.

If you feel offended by nudity, and if you feel offended by sex, then perhaps you need to take a look in the mirror and have a long talk with yourself, and if you believe in one, your god. Because let me give you a hint, your god didn’t give you a naked body to be afraid of, and your god didn’t give you genitals to create sin with.

If you don’t agree, that’s fine, you don’t have to. But don’t argue to any of us about our morals, our thoughts, and most importantly, our Art.

You have been warned. We mean business. If you are a hater, you will not be tolerated.

Here is some concept work for the Yuu artbook that we are working on! For those of you that don’t know, The Yuu is a race we created that was inspired our most popular piece of artwork. The Artbook that we are creating will be adult in nature, and will contain many full color illustrations that describe the race fully, as well as writings. The race, as well as the book, is geared towards those who enjoy roleplaying. I’m sure furry fans will particuarly enjoy RPing this race. =)

This sheet shows off the basic color pallete, and gives various examples of the wide range of fur patterns a Yuu Female can have!

Here is the completed LineArt for a Yuu Male. I’m actually planning on doing a color study with the males of the race just like I did with the females.

Sorry for the slight bit of innactivity everyone! Antigone and I are gearing up for our next convention, as well as fighting printer issues.

The Yuu Race

So a while ago we decided to make our most popular image into an original character.

She started off as a custom Yu-Gi-Oh orica card commission that we did for a customer. Her design was based off of the card “Baby Trigon”.

What started off so simply as thinking up a name for her, turned into a creative journey of a lifetime! Not only did we give her a name, but I also thought up of an entire race of creatures based off of her.

We have thought up everything. Everything from what her race looks like, to what they eat, where they live, who they worship, when and how they mate, how they care for their young, and even how they get along and relate with other potential races.

Our race is named the “Yuu”.

This drawing is of an adult female Yuu, as well as an adult male Yuu. The female in the image is of our new Original Character, and her name is “Yuumii”

Over the next few months, the further development and illustration of the Yuu race will be what I am devoting my artistic time towards. By the end of it all, we are going to be self publishing a full artbook that describes and illustrates the race in full detail, complete with sketches as well as full color illustrations, all that Illustrate the behaviors and lives of the Yuu Race. The book will be for ages 18+ and will contain a good amount adult oriented content in it.

The Yuu Artbook will be geared towards art appreciators, as well as role-players. Upon the release of our new artbook, we will even open up a special page geared towards the furry/rp community that wishes to create/illustrate their own Yuu characters.

We hope to have a huge following of people who enjoy the Yuu race and who want to have characters of their own created/commissioned. We even would love to see fan drawings of people’s own Yuu characters!

To put things simply… we WANT people to use this race that we are creating for them. The Yuu race is not only something that we are doing for pure creative enjoyment, but also a way for us to spread our idea to others who just want to have fun along with us.

I want to save most of the background info on the Yuu Race for another time, However for those confused as to why the male Yuu in the image is a large Draconian creature, and why the female is more humanoid… allow me to explain.

-Upon birth, both male and females of the Yuu race resemble small humanoid babies. However as the males begin to grow and mature, they slowly begin to develop more beastlike/draconian features, until when they finally reach adulthood, they resemble a full beast.-
