In a modern world where man reached a point of singularity with machines, a small handfull of unknown hackers siezed control over mankind, and crushed it within the palms of their hands. Literally overnight, the population of the human race dropped dead.

But one day you wake up. You wake up to find yourself in a rugged disaster stricken downtown area, shrouded by pitch black clouds, lost in eternal night. Surrounding you are hundreds of bodies sprawled along the streets. After a few moments, as if activated by a switch, they all at once begin to rise to their feet.

The sky roars with a booming noise and the image of a a boy appears towering above the crowd. The young figure towering before them, now visible on myriads of screens scattered about the downtown area calls himself Icarus. The aloof boy, Icarus, quickly claims a leadership position and informs the crowd that the people responsible for the death of billions are but a few individuals and are among the crowd of people at this very moment.

You quickly learn that you are one of the last human beings left, and everyone in the city is a member of the last surviving group of the human race. In other words, the city is an arena. Everyone left are all the players. There is no escape from the outer walls of the city. Everyone is trapped in a life or death scenario, and is forced to play a game where the players must choose who lives, and who must die.

In secret, you learn that you are one of six. One of six people that have been gifted with “Wings”. These wings not only mark you as a person possessing hacking abilities rivaling those responsible for the instant death of billions, but that also places a heavy burden on you, the burden of being responsible for protecting lives of the players around you. And even the protection of an endangered race under attack isn’t the heaviest burden. With this power, you also bare the single most important responsibility of everyone, and that responsibility is…

…To find the hackers, the real criminals who doomed humanity.

-Play as six different characters and learn their deeper connections between each other.

-Reveal the truth behind what happened, as well as the greater truth behind Icarus and his game.
