Actually, pretty nifty, I host with wordpress themselves. I’m an artist, so I really don’t have the money or time to fool around with remote hosting. So I just host my blog with WordPress.

Hosting with wordpress has a lot of drawbacks. In general, it’s more difficult to customize your blog and you can’t use any plugins. (For security reasons) however, there are TONS of workarounds to get your blog to do just about whatever you want it to. And to me, working with those limitations right now is worth not having to deal with the expensive monthly fees and technical headache that comes with self hosting.

Hosting with wordpress is only $30, per year.

This conversation shifted from being about our work, to entirely being about our personal lives.

Your advice and your words carry absolutely no weight with regards to our personal lives, especially since you still choose to remain behind a hidden identity.

You have absolutely no clue what circumstances got us to where we are today Because under a different set of circumstances and we would be more than fine.

That’s just how it is though. Even “stable” people with “stable” lives get shit like we have been through
happening to them, they get fired and can’t find new work or whatever.

But we made a personal decision, and we had completely unrelated personal circumstances befall us. So now we have to deal with people like you saying things like “durr should have got a job”.

Your criticism honestly isn’t wanted. We know what’s expected of us and now know where we need to improve. But if your comments had to do with art, I could understand to some degree. But your trying to preach to me and my wife about what to do with our PERSONAL lives, when you have absolutely not a damn clue what the exact circumstances are, or what the ramifications your advice would have on our personal relationship or our personal lives.

If you want to actually help. You can start by dropping the anon veil and telling us about who you are and why you even care. Otherwise, you’re just another obnoxious wind bag trying to blow around leaves aimlessly.
